- Visit to a winery (adult tasting
/ juice workshop for children) - Local lunch in a cellar-restaurant or at the campsite
- Stroll through the vineyards or relax by the pool
- Wine and food pairing evening at the restaurant
Day 4 – Heritage & villages of character 🏰
- Excursion to Minerve, classified ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France
- Historical tour and archaeological museum
- Gourmet snack in the village
- Return to campsite and dinner
Day 5 – Adventure & outdoors ☀️
- Sports activities: canoeing, kayaking or tree climbing
- Gentle hiking in the Haut-Languedoc
- Free evening at the campsite ✨

- Visit to a local producers’ market (olives, honey, wine)
- Taste and buy local products

Day 7 – Relaxation & swimming 🤽
- Free day: pool, river and family games
- Last bike ride or quick visit (abbey, castle)

Welcome to one of France’s most beautiful regions! From Camping Le Val de Cesse, located in Mirepeïsset in the Aude department, on the border with the Hérault, discover a region rich in history, landscapes and traditions.
Whether you’re a heritage enthusiast, a nature lover or an epicurean at heart, you’ll love visiting Occitanie.
Thanks to our central location between Carcassonne, Narbonne and Béziers, and just a stone’s throw (2 km) from Le Somail, the emblematic site of the Canal du Midi, the campsite is an ideal base for exploring the Occitanie region and the Côte du Midi in complete freedom.
The most beautiful towns in Occitania
Just a few minutes from our 4-star campsite in the Aude, don’t miss the majestic city of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its ramparts, castle and medieval streets. Further south, Narbonne will charm you with its historic center, its landscaped riverbanks and the Halles de Narbonne, voted “Most Beautiful Market in France in 2022”. For a breath of fresh air, head for the beaches of Gruissan, just 30 minutes away. And if you want to go further afield, Montpellier, Albi and the “pink city” of Toulouse are well worth a visit.

The Occitanie region is full of must-see tourist attractions: Fontfroide Abbey, Cathar castles, Minervois vineyards, Gruissan salt marshes, Narbonne’s Halles (voted “Most Beautiful Market in France 2022”)… So many places to discover with family or friends. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite, the Canal du Midi invites you to stroll along its peaceful banks, on foot or by bike to the Porte Minervoise (800 m away). And for the more active, a number of signposted walks await you in the Corbières, or around the Montagne Noire.
